If you are new to yoga we suggest that you start with a series title that has an asterisk. An asterisk indicates that beginners are welcome. After being in one of these yoga classes for a while, you may begin to feel that you are ready to experience a different aspect of yoga practice. You may want to choose a yoga class with more focus on meditation, a more vigorous practice , a gentler, slower practice or one with more breath work or chanting. Take advantage of our teachers' diversity and years of study and experience. Feel free to speak to them directly about your yoga practice and goals. Once you have explored different classes and teachers, you will have a better feel for what yoga classes suite your needs at any given moment.
Anusara is a hatha system of yoga focused on the Universal Principles of AlignmentTM. This class incorporates biomechanical alignment, spiritual awareness, and breathwork. The poses flow from one to the next, building strength and flexibility. This is an "Anusara- Influenced" class based on the the number of training hours the teacher has accumulated to date.
A dynamic, linear, vigorous sequence of postures as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This powerful practice synchronizes the use of ujjayi (breath), dristi (gaze), and bandhas (locks) to create a unified wave of fluidity, grace and meditative flow. This class focus will be on the ashtanga primary series. Some yoga experience recommended.

Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a blending of, repetition of breath work, movement and postures, chanting and meditation, resulting in a general sense of relaxation and well-being. Kundalini Yoga focuses on uncoiling and moving the energy through the chakra system by stimulating the energy in the lower centers, and moving it to the higher centers. The uncoiling is the awakening of the unlimited potential that already exists in every human. Kundalini Yoga assists in eliminating negative habit patterns as it promotes balance and intuition to the energy of the mind and emotions so that we can be in control of ourselves rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings.
Strengthen and restore abdominal, pelvic floor, and lower back muscles, as well as encourage emotional stability and stamina. Babies from 5 weeks to 10 months are welcome and will enjoy gentle stretches and basic massage with mom.

Deeper Svaroopa challenges the body to find and soften deeper core tension. Classes include quieter more meditative poses with fewer instructions as well as poses that challenge the body towards deeper spinal release. Recommended for Svaroopa students with one year's experience.

This 2 hour class offers a progressive immersion into yoga asana, pranayama and philosophy. Incorporating both vinyasa and hatha styles, each session will have an emphasis on specific topics, such as the fundamentals of standing postures, back bending, inversions and arm balances, twisting and forward bending, pranayama, etc. Because this class offers a progressive exploration of yoga asana, it is perfect for someone who wants to learn how to safely enter more difficult postures and to immerse oneself into a deeper understanding of the philosophical and spiritual elements of yoga. This class is required for aspiring teachers in the Yoga Teacher Training program and is open to all students committed to a regular practice, regardless of skill level.
May/June session will focused on Vinyasa style and July/August focus will be creatinga an Integrated Practice/Pranayama (a balanced practice including all the asana types)
Imaginations soar in this energetic and playful environment where children will be guided through age appropriate postures of yoga and the elements of movement. Children will be encouraged and supported to express their individuality, strengthen and cultivate awareness about their bodies and minds, and explore activities that include music,storytelling, and creative games. Ages 5-8

Wear clothes easy to move in and layers to accommodate the weather. Bring a yoga mat, blanket or beach towel and sun block. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Parking is free for students. If it rains class will be canceled, and can be made up in any All That Matters yoga class.
